I am Dr. Sruthi Atmakur-Javdekar, an architect, landscape architect, and environmental psychologist focused on improving environments for children, young people and adults.
Currently, I am an independent scholar of environmental psychology, and a practicing architect and landscape architect at GRIT: environmental design + research studio that I founded in Pune city, India.
I hold a Ph.D. and M.Phil in Environmental Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, a masters degree in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech and a bachelors in architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, JNTU, Hyderabad, India.
